peteris_r Newbie Latvia Posts: 1 new hull design « on: July 31, 2007, 09:41:13 PM » I am a professional merchant seaman. During my time on boarb ships I've noticed some fenomena as regards to the ship's hull shape and resistance to the water wich considerably affects vessel's speed (20 -30 % increase). This phenomena requires a research in suitably equipped facility (like model trials).
