Friendship Sloop HalfHull
The Friendship Sloop is a ring boat. It is an evolution of the small fishing boat that produced the Friendship. They were. primarily used for fishing in the protected waters of the Northeast coast. There is some controversy as to who built the first one. It could have been Wilber Morse of Friendship Maine. Whomever it was, they built a pretty boat. They were about 25' long and they had a low rig with bowsprits that seemed to go on forever.
